The aim was to create a photo studio in Blender similar light setup to real photo studios, that can be used to render finished 3D garments in a consistens way. You simply import your garment made in CLO3D or another software, texture it (if you haven't already), activate the camera and lighting that suits your garment, and render.
I began by creating a time plan, then I collected reference images from fashion websites and used them to create a light setup in Blender that was similar to my references; a quite bright and even light, no sharp contrasts as you want the customer to see every detail and seam of the garment that they are planning to buy.
Garments created by me in CLO3D and rendered in Blender.
My Blender studio has two scenes, one for tops and one for bottoms. The tops scene has three cameras depending on the length of your garment, and has four light setups depending on the brightness and specularity of your garment.
